Dynamic Argon Co., Ltd., and Thai Otsuka collaboration through Trends and Insights Adapting Nutrition for Diabetes. The event held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in Sun & Moon Riverside Hotel, Phnom Penh.

 

The event was attended by the Chief of Cambodia-Korea Diabetes Center, Deputy-Director, Asst. Prof. Touch Khun; Endocrinologist, Vice-Chief of Cambodia-Korea Diabetes Center, Dr. Chea Videm; Endocrinologist, Khmer Soviet Friendship Hospital, Dr. Theng Heak; General Manager of Dynamic Argon Cambodia, Mr. Ivan Setiadi; Director of International Business Unit Thai Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. , Ms. Monthana Phunchindawan; Assoc. Sales and Marketing Manager International Business Unit Thai Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. , Yanisa Phadungsin.

 

During his keynote speech Prof. Touch Khun emphasized that the diabetic patients are increasing by each year. It’s importance of mindful dietary choices in controlling blood sugar levels by taking precaution and checking the label list of ingredients and understanding the importance of medical nutrition can help maintain blood sugar level, weight and decreasing the risk of having diabetes.

 

“By opting for brown rice or whole wheat bread instead of white rice and white bread, we can significantly reduce the rapid influx of sugar into our bloodstream, which is crucial for maintaining stable blood glucose levels. The most effective approach to managing dietary habits is to work closely with a qualified nutritionist or healthcare professional who can assess your body's needs and provide personalized guidance on a well-balanced, diabetes-friendly diet,” said Prof. Touch Khun.
